Managing paper expense receipts during a business trip can be a cumbersome task that can slow down the process of creating and submitting expense reports. Chrome River now offers Chrome River SNAP, an optional app designed specifically for business travelers. This app aims to eliminate the need to keep a physical stack of paper receipts and reduce the time required to create an expense report later on.

With Chrome River SNAP, users are able to:

• Capture and upload receipt images in real time, as expenses occur. These images will be directly uploaded to the Chrome River EXPENSE Receipt Gallery.
• Share existing receipt images from their smartphone's photo gallery app or third-party photo apps.
• Keep personal and business expenses separate. Receipt images taken with Chrome River SNAP are uploaded exclusively to the EXPENSE Receipt Gallery and are not saved to the user's personal photo library.

Here's how Chrome River SNAP works:

1. Simply take a photo of a receipt using the Chrome River SNAP app and upload it.
2. To share an existing receipt image, open the image in any photo gallery app, tap the "share" icon, and look for the CR SNAP icon to upload the image to the EXPENSE Receipt Gallery.
3. To review all pending and successfully uploaded receipts sent from their device, users can go to the Upload Gallery.

Please note that Chrome River SNAP is a standalone utility app solely used for capturing and uploading receipt images. To create and submit expense reports using these receipt images, users must log into the Chrome River web app.

Can I use this app without an internet connection? Yes! Regardless of internet connectivity, users can still utilize Chrome River SNAP. In situations where an internet connection is temporarily unavailable, the image will remain within the app until a stronger connection is established. Once connected, the image will then be successfully uploaded. Users are encouraged to keep the app open until a green check mark appears next to a photo, indicating a successful upload to Chrome River EXPENSE.
